Smouldering – The King’s Cross Fire

Using the Fennell Report, this programme examines the issues that existed in London Underground at the time which contributed to the disaster such as silo working, failure to contain illicit smoking, poor maintenance, police radios that didn’t work underground, poor staff response training, lack of knowledge of flashovers, and a poor safety culture.
